Paula Isabel Gutiérrez Leal

She earned her law degree from the Faculty of Law at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), She was admitted in 2024.
Professionally, she began her career as a legal intern at Notary Office No. 169 in Mexico City, under Notary Miguel Ángel Beltrán Lara, where she performed various tasks such as assisting clients during signings, reviewing testimonies, verifying documents, issuing certified copies, and managing pre- and post-signing documentation.
Subsequently, she served as a legal intern in the legal department of Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceutical Mexico, where she was responsible for reviewing, drafting, and correcting agreements and contracts, coordinating and managing all types of notarial and administrative procedures before various public authorities, and overseeing the organization, review, and filing system for legal documents and instruments.
Currently, she works at Calderón, González & Asociados, where she handles a wide range of activities, including managing procedures before different authorities, studying, reviewing, and drafting legal briefs, and monitoring cases in areas such as Tax and Legal Advisory, Tax Controversies, Tax and Administrative Litigation, Transfer Pricing, and Foreign Trade.
Academically, she has specialized in International Tax Law and was part of the team that represented UNAM’s Faculty of Law in the 10th Edition of the Ibero-American Tax Moot Court. She holds a Diploma in “International Taxation” from the Public Accountants Association of Guadalajara, Jalisco.
Currently, she supports, designs, develops, concludes, and reviews research projects in areas such as Tax Law, International Tax Law, Transfer Pricing, among others, at Calderón, González & Asociado
