Jorge Adrián Alcocer Castillejos

He earned his law degree from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), and later specialized in tax law at the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico (ITAM). He also holds a specialization in amparo proceedings from the Mexican Bar Association.

Since 2003, he has been an active member of the Mexican Bar Association, where he has served as a professor in its Tax Law Program and as coordinator of the Indirect and Local Taxes Committee.

He began his professional career at Goodrich, Riquelme y Asociados, A.C. (1995–1997), and later became a partner at Capín, Calderón, Ramírez y Gutiérrez-Azpe, S.C. (1997–2009).

In 2009, he founded Alcocer-Perelló y Asociados, S.C., a law firm specializing in tax litigation.

From December 2018 to May 2022, he served as Director General of Financial Crimes at the Federal Tax Attorney’s Office within Mexico’s Ministry of Finance and Public Credit.

Since June 2022, he has been a tax litigation partner at Calderón, González y Asociados.
