Rosario Huet

Ms. María del Rosario Huet Covarrubias earned her law degree from Escuela Libre de Derecho in Mexico City in 1998. She began her career specializing in Fiscal Law, focusing on tax consultancy and litigation.

She pursued postgraduate studies in Tax Law at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (2002–2003) and has also participated in international taxation courses and educational programs.

Ms. Huet has played an active role in establishing and leading tax departments within law firms serving international clients. Her professional experience includes involvement with bi-national Chambers of Commerce and Industry, participation in international conferences, and contributions to specialized research and articles on tax law published in industry journals.

She is an active member of the Comisión Colegio de Contadores–PRODECON, a joint committee between Mexico’s Accountant’s Bar and the Federal Taxpayer Ombudsman, where she collaborates on initiatives related to taxpayer rights and fiscal policy.

As of March 2024, Ms. Huet joined the team at Calderón, González y Asociados.
